Qatar and UK-based business aviation Services Company Rizon Jet, a subsidiary of Ghanim bin Saad al Saad & Sons Group Holdings (GSSG), has inaugurated its VIP terminal in Doha in a VIP and media event on March 11, 2012. The inauguration was under the patronage of H.E. Abdul Aziz bin Mohamed Al Noaimi, Chairman of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.
The event was attended by Mr. Ghanim bin Saad Al Saad, The Founder of Ghanim bin Saad Al Saad & Sons Group Holding (GSSG), Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al-Hamadi, Chairman, GSSG Holdings, Mr. Ibrahim Fakhroo, Group CEO, GSSG Holdings, Captain Hassan Al Mousawi, CEO, Rizon Jet, officials from both companies and VIP guests.
Present in the event as well was Mr. Khader Mattar, Regional Vice-President, Sales, Middle East, India And Africa Bombardier Business Aircraft, who represented Bombardier to show its support to Rizon Jet.
The ceremony began with an official ribbon cutting by H.E. Abdul Aziz bin Mohamed Al Noaimi and Mr. Ghanim bin Saad Al Saad, marking the opening of the new VIP terminal. Guests were then given a tour of the building, including the lavish private aviation lounge which carters for all business and VIP travelers' needs. The tour continued with a behind the scenes look at the hanger and state-of-the art service facilities. Guests then had the opportunity to board one of the company’s aircraft and experience the unique Rizon Jet flight experience.

As the only independent private jet operator with its own terminal in Qatar, Rizon Jet is uniquely positioned to meet the demand of the burgeoning Gulf market. Additionally, Rizon Jet is unique in being the only Middle East operator to have a luxurious VIP FBO based in the significant international aviation hub of London, Biggin Hill. Due to rapid growth during 2011, especially at the London Biggin Hill terminal, Rizon Jet is now confident of being fully ready for the anticipated increase of business brought in the run up to this summer’s Olympic Games in London. The company has been preparing by upping capacity to handle anticipated demand and extending the range of aircraft services offered. It is important to note that the company has started receiving advance booking requests from customers for the Olympic Games period.

Rizon Jet has already acquired many international fixed based operations licenses to build and operate private terminals. Some of the main FBOs are in London and Qatar. Furthermore, Rizon Jet will invest in the full services cycle of private aviation from ground support to catering and maintenance and other technical services complementary to the private aviation business.
Rizon Jet has extended the range of aircraft services offered, and has secured approvals for the management and maintenance of a number of new aircraft models. Rizon Jet’s MROs in Doha and Biggin Hill hold approvals from Qatar CAA and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to carry out maintenance on various business jet aircraft. Rizon Jet also holds approvals from Aruba, Bermuda, and Cayman Islands for several aircraft types including the Bombardier Global series, Challenger Series, Hawker 125 XP series, as well as the Beech 390 Premier 1/1A and Cessna 560 Citation series. The company also plans to secure approvals for the Airbus A319CJ aircraft in early 2013.
